First and foremost, I’m sorry! There is no degree of an apology that will ever make up for the endless oppression suffered by you worldwide based on the ignorance of “white” people. I’m fucking disgusted about it. 

To know the terrible history of how our ancestors were captured, humiliated, raped, forced to rape our own, beaten, hung, and the list continues. Ain’t no fucking way that is going to continue to be the reality for us. This is protection at all cost. 

I see all the variables of oppression, I promise. I see how the land was stolen and is still being held captive, I see how many of us have slave owners last names because they disconnected us from our heritage as they transported us away from our land, or captured us on our land. I see the discrepancy in pay, accommodations, access to finances, and access to proper healthcare and nutrition. I see the mass incarceration. I see the discrimination that has held us back for far too long.

I see the way every detail adds to our sense of insecurity, but I urge you to release the lie. I see how feeling safe in the stench of yesterdays “white mans world” has led us to self destructive habits, massive drug use, and addiction to possessions to try and build our sense of self. I see the desire to be more, and I support that desire because you are already more than you can see. You are the Jewels of earth. 

I need you to lift your HEART up. I’m strong but I need you to help me help you, so we can help us. I need you to find the strength to move forward with me. I need you to release the pain that you have silently endured, while being limited to taking it out on one another. I need our families rebuilt, our unions strong, our will ignited!

Black men, this is full acknowledgement of how the world has caused the interruption of your masculinity, by forcing you to have to choose to make yourself small so that you do not attract the “klan”. Fuck the “Klan”. We are a tribe. Today, it’s time to reclaim your power. It’s time to restore your faith in your ability to be unapologetically you and the respectable leader you were always meant to be. The road forward may not be easy, but having gone through it, I ensure you I have the support you need as long as you are willing to give it your all. No more struggling. No more feeling so alone that you choose the streets. I’m taking the war to the sky, this is a mindset shift you ARE worthy and deserving. Your life matters. I am my brothers keeper! 

Black women, no apology amounts to the historic injustices you have faced as you have become protectors not because your men weren’t capable, but because even without chains they were restrained. You are the ESSENCE of life as the creator of all. I’m sorry that you had to endure being a protector while being violated in the most agreegious way not only by loved ones, but by other cultures of people who cannot fathom the wisdom you carry in your DNA, from trauma. Your strength is beyond admirable as even in your plight, you still find a way to love and nourish the world. You are royalty. You are a queen. You are the reason the sun exist. 

Black families, it’s time to forgive us. It’s time to push the pain to the true cause of our plight which is the continuous oppression and enslavement of our people through greed and inhumanity. We are stronger together, no matter how together looks. All children need AND DESERVE parents. It is disgusting what has been done historically to deconstruct the trust we need to be successful at family. Today is unity. And through this unity, full support will be provided to ensure we can navigate the hardest reality any family will have to overcome. But know this, if there is anyone in the world who is deserving of forgiveness, it would be our family members. We haven’t always been right, or done the right things, history stole our ability to be humane. Trauma will always be revealed, and we gave the trauma to one another, and now it’s time to heal. #blackfamiliesmatter.

Black Children you are the purpose that drives the world forward. You may not understand the choices of your parents no matter what they have or have not done for or to you, but I assure you they did the best they could, with the nothing they were given. From your parents you have a silent but courageous strength that will forever be protected for you to become everything you desire to be. At times you may have felt like the parent, one day, your kids will feel the same. You Matter! Always remember to be the leader of your life, and instead of succumbing to peer-pressure, APPLY PRESSURE.

Black Seniors I know for a fact that we owe today’s breath to your resiliency. I’m sorry for what you endured, I’m sorry that you had to endure longer than the rest of us, and I’m thankful you got us here. There is no measure of gratefulness that can ever be expressed, for your encouragement, your cautious guidance, or the love you passed down. If life has not been the best for you, I’m praying this is the start of renewed life. Renewed purpose to strive for 100 more years to see the peace that you should have had as a child. No one deserved, what you survived. 

I have our unity plan and it starts with reconnecting worldwide, culture sharing, and a life vest that will ensure if any of you are in danger, you’ll have the support to prevent the fall. 

AS ALWAYS, we have more work to do than others. But, this time, the work we do will be our reward alone. #HeartLove
