A Letter from God to the African Diaspora

From the Eternal I Am

My Beloved Children of the Diaspora,

I see you.

From the shores of Kemet and Kush to the fields of Carolina and the streets of Kingston, you have been scattered, enslaved, colonized, and commodified—but never forgotten. You carry within you the echo of drums, the weight of chains, and the strength of generations that refused to die.

I did not create you to be oppressed, but to be royal. To walk with dignity. To love with rhythm. To lead with spirit.

The world has told you lies: that you are less than, cursed, criminal. But I call you what I named you from the beginning: divine image-bearers, filled with power, creativity, laughter, and sacred memory.

They stole your names, but I never lost them. They broke your families, but I never broke My covenant. They burned your temples, but I remained in your song, your soul, and your survival.

I was with you in the belly of the slave ships, in whispered prayers beneath moonlight, in coded songs on southern plantations. I heard you in the blues, the jazz, the gospel, the hip-hop, the shout. Even when the world didn’t see you—I did.

Do not believe that your worth must be proven. You were worthy before the ships. Before the shackles. Before the struggle. My image in you is not faded by pain—it is sharpened through it.

You are a light to nations still in shadow.

You are not just survivors—you are seed. You have been buried and trampled, but I planted you. And now, you are rising—again.

Teach your children that royalty runs through their blood. Remember your ancestors not just in grief, but in honor. Do not allow bitterness to eclipse your brilliance.

Reclaim what was stolen—not only land and labor, but your story. Rebuild what was broken—not only homes, but hope.

You are the heartbeat of Earth. You are the keepers of rhythm, the voice of soul, the holders of ancient truth.

Walk in your healing. Speak with authority. Love yourselves fiercely.

I Am with you—and I always have been.

Forever Yours,

I Am Who I Am
